Euphoria the Mexican surf movie

Through music, passion, and endless waves, “Euphoria” immerses us in our oceans, filling us with wonder, inspiration, and hope.

Euphoria is a surf trip that translates into an odyssey through our Mexican roots. A journey without meaning, rules, or bad decisions, living a puzzle of vignettes… like a dream.

A visual and audio journey along the Pacific coast, portraying Mexican surfing.

More than a film, it's a journey. A trip with Sebas through the lands of Mexico, in search of hidden places and perfect waves.

The landscape, the culture, and the people are the characters of this project. Blue skies, rocky mountains, enormous sand dunes, crystal-clear water, perfect snorkeling, and warm people fill the Mexican paradise where Sebas is fortunate enough to live with life.

Originally from Puerto Escondido, my father is South African and my mother is Mexican. For as long as I can remember, I've spent my days in the water, surfing. Traveling between California, Hawaii, South Africa, and Mexico is how I became a lover of the ocean. Winner of the 2015 King of the Groms global surfing tournament, my dream has always been to compete in the WCT and represent Mexico in global surfing.

We are very good friends with Octavio Coutiño and Alejandro Maytorena, and we have collaborated on various projects and worked on their projects on several occasions.

On this occasion we were invited to direct the entire marketing campaign for Euphoria the Surf Movie. From the direction of the Web development until Social media Y Virtual tour from the red carpet.

We at Alavista.mx are in charge of promoting the Kickstarter and filling the premieres in Puerto Escondido, Mexico City, Sayulita, and Guadalajara through smart ad targeting and social media ads.
